Bea Oyster is a visual storyteller, creative strategist, and image-maker from Honolulu, Hawai‘i, now based in New York City.

As the sole visuals editor at Teen Vogue, Bea connects visual creatives and written creatives – ideating, developing, and producing cross-platform campaigns that span fashion, beauty, culture and politics. She serves as a producer, team and world builder, resident photo researcher (ask her about the Teen Vogue archive), retoucher, designer, and photographer.

Bea photographed the May/June 2025 cover story, featuring KATSEYE.

Before joining Condé Nast, she spent time with the photo and art teams at The Wall Street Journal and NBC News. As a freelance photographer, her work has appeared in both print and digital for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and others. She received a B.A. in Art History from Smith College.

Bea is open to creative collaborations and projects.
